#1) The Twelve Steps of Alcoholics Anonymous - The Twelve Steps are outlined in the book Alcoholics Anonymous. They can be found at the beginning of the chapter “How It Works.” Essays on the Steps can be read in the book Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions.   

#2) The Twelve Steps of Narcotics Anonymous - Narcotics Anonymous simply states: If you want what we have to offer, and are willing to make the effort to get it, then you are ready to take certain steps. These are the principles that made our recovery possible. 

#3) The Twelve Keys of Faith-Based Recovery - The Twelve Keys of Faith-Based Recovery are included in the book "The Hope Recovery Devotional: There is Always Hope with God" and are also presented in the book "The Twelve Keys of Faith-Based Recovery: How to Be Successful in Recovery By Embracing Key Biblical Truths." These twelve keys are foundational biblical truths that reveal that the God of the Bible is a loving, caring, and compassionate God and that recovery is absolutely possible with God in your life. 

 #4) Alcoholics Anonymous - A.A. states that we have "a simple program that works. It’s based on one alcoholic helping another."

#5) Narcotics Anonymous - N.A. states that "All of the efforts of Narcotics Anonymous are inspired by the primary purpose of our groups. Upon this common ground we stand committed."

#6) Al-Anon - Al-Anon states that our "members are people, just like you, who are worried about someone with a drinking problem." 

#7) Nar-Anon - Nar-Anon states that we are "A 12-Step Program for Family & Friends of Addicts."
